Season logbook for whitebaiters — West Coast stands, Waikato and Manawatū river mouths, and every weekend scoop-netter's own bank.
Possie is a New Zealand whitebait season logbook. It runs entirely offline: you pick a possie, type in your own high tide, tally the catch by the cup, gram or pound with one thumb, log net checks, and jot a bank note. Season and Guide give you a calendar of fished days, a chart of your best hours from high tide, and an offline reference on the five native galaxiids, bank etiquette and how to keep and cook the catch.
No. Possie works entirely offline. It has no account and no server — everything you enter stays on your device.
Possie doesn't forecast tides. Type the high tide from your own tide table or tide app into the session, and Possie measures your tally and net checks against it.
Yes — open Rules and set your own season open and close dates. Possie presents nothing as law; check the Department of Conservation for the current regulations in your area.
Deletions are immediate and cannot be undone from within the app, so Possie always asks you to confirm first. There's no cloud backup to restore from — Possie keeps everything on-device only.
Open Rules → Preferences and use Export logbook as CSV, or open a single session and use Share, to hand the file to the system share sheet.
